Cost for Prom is $20 per person. Doors will open at 9 p.m. not before. All royalty must attend the Courthouse Promenade. All Promenade Forms are due Wednesday and all Forms are mandatory. The Courthouse Promenade begins at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 9. You enter the courthouse by the doors next to the Sheriff’s office across from Central Baptist Church. You must be at the courthouse at 4:30 p.m. DO NOT come through the front door facing Walgreens. Your name is only announced one time. If you arrive late it will not be re-announced.
Senior Beta Club Members, if you wish to order a Beta Club Graduation Stole, they are $17.00. See Mr. Hopkins by Thursday, April 7.

Panthers will be hosting the Varsity District Basketball tournament Thursday and Saturday. Games begin at 4:00 pm. Admission is $5.00 for everyone. AAA passes are the only passes that will get in free. No student, faculty or Senior Passes will work for this tournament. No outside food or drinks allowed in gym.
Because of the tournament, buses will pick up at the end of the 500 hallway this week. All bus riders will exit by Mrs. Silva’s classroom.

Panthers will be hosting the Varsity District Basketball tournament beginning Monday. Games begin at 4:00 pm. Admission is $5.00 for everyone. AAA passes are the only passes that will get in free. Any junior who is interested in applying for Arkansas Governor's School this summer needs to go by the counselor's office for more information. Arkansas Governor's School is a 4-week summer residential program that focuses on building leadership skills.

We all had a great Homecoming Week, Thanks to Mrs.Rowe and Mrs. Jewell and to all the class sponsors. Congratulations to Zoi Hurd, Homecoming Queen and Sara Bowman, Maid of Honor. AHS Panther Cheer tryouts will be held Friday, March 19th. Cheer Packets are in the office. There will be a mandatory Parent/Cheerleader meeting, Wednesday, March 3rd at 5:30 in the AHS Cafeteria. All information packets must be turned in by Friday, March 12th. For more information, see Mrs. Crow.

All 11th graders will be taking the ACT on Tuesday, February 23rd. Testing will begin around 8:00 and conclude by 12:00. We will be testing in the 300 hallway. 11th graders will need to report to the cafeteria no later than 7:55 on the 23rd. Testing room rosters will be posted. Please make sure you know which room you will be in for testing.
Serenity Cafe will deliver Valentine’s specials anonymously or from that special someone. Purchase a gift card and add $1 for a bag of kisses to be delivered on Friday and Monday!

Reagan Burden and Chloe Silva will be attending the Arkansas State SkillsUSA Officer Pinning Ceremony in Malvern, AR today. Reagan is currently serving as State Treasurer and Chloe is serving as State Historian. Congratulations to these students.
