Dyslexia Program

During the 2023-2024 school year, the Ashdown Public School District used the

evidenced-based Take Flight Dyslexia Intervention Program and the Sonday System in small

group intervention to address the deficit areas of students identified as exhibiting

the characteristics of dyslexia.

 

Number of Students Who Received Dyslexia Intervention

During the 2023-2024 school year, 45 students attending the Ashdown Public

School District received dyslexia intervention services from a trained dyslexia

Interventionist.

 

Total Number of Students Identified as Exhibiting the Characteristics of

Dyslexia During the 2023-2024 school year, 62 students attending the Ashdown

Public School District were identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia.

 
 

Dyslexia Program

During the 2022-2023 school year, the Ashdown Public School District used the

evidenced-based Take Flight Dyslexia Intervention Program and the Sonday System in small

group intervention to address the deficit areas of students identified as exhibiting

the characteristics of dyslexia.


Number of Students Who Received Dyslexia Intervention

During the 2022-2023 school year, 43 students attending the Ashdown Public

School District received dyslexia intervention services from a trained dyslexia

Interventionist.


Total Number of Students Identified as Exhibiting the Characteristics of

Dyslexia During the 2022-2023 school year, 61 students attending the Ashdown

Public School District were identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia.

During the 2021-2022 school year, the Ashdown Public School District used the evidenced-based Barton Reading & Spelling System and Sonday System in small group intervention to address the deficit areas of students identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia. 
 
Number of Students Who Received Dyslexia Intervention 
During the 2021-2022 school year, 27 students attending the Ashdown Public School District received dyslexia intervention services from a trained dyslexia interventionist. 
 
Total Number of Students Identified as Exhibiting the Characteristics of Dyslexia During the 2021-2022 school year, 57 students attending the Ashdown Public School District were identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia.
