May 4, 2026
No School tomorrow due to the 3A State Track meet.
Tickets to the 3A track meet can only be purchased on-line at GoFan.co. You will show your ticket on your phone at the gate. No exceptions!! This is a AAA activity, No Passes will be honored.
Seniors, You can now purchase Senior banquet tickets on-line at the ashdownpublicschools.org website. No tickets will be sold at the door. Last day to purchase your ticket will be this Friday, May 8th.
Seniors can pick up your Senior Check out sheets from the office today.
9th – 11th grade Athletic Physicals will be held on campus Wednesday in the Gym. Make sure you bring your packet that you have already received with you that day.
Physicals will start at 1:00 with 5th grade. You will be called out by grade.

NHS Induction will take place on Wednesday, April 29, at 12 noon.
Check the NHS Google Classroom page to see guidelines for dress code and attendance.
Seniors, the last day to purchase your Senior Banquet ticket will be May 8th. No tickets will be sold at the door.
Students, there will be no more library book checkouts for the remainder of the year. Make sure you get all checked-out books returned to the library as soon as possible.
Special Olympics Track will be on May 1st. Students interested in volunteering will need to pick up a volunteer form in the office, which must be signed by all of their teachers in order to be excused from class on that day. Forms must be turned in to the office by Tuesday, April 28th. No exceptions!
Pantherette Softball will travel to Bismarck today to begin play in the District tournament. They will play Bismarck at 4:30 p.m. Good luck Pantherettes.

The Career Fair is this Thursday, with over 40 businesses and industries attending. Seniors and Juniors, please use the sign-up sheets located on the cafeteria wall to select which businesses you are interested in working. If you need help creating or updating your resume, please see Mrs. Turner and she will assist you with the resume.
Juniors and seniors, the Promenade March will be on April 25 at 5 pm at the Little River County Courthouse. All Promenade announcement forms must be turned in to Mrs. Elkins by the end of the day on Wednesday or you will not be allowed to walk.

SSR will be here on Tuesday, April 21, to measure for Letterman Jackets. Make sure you check with your coach to get an order packet. You have to have lettered in a sport or band to order a jacket.

Bus Alley Brew will not be open Tuesday or Thursday next week due to Atlas testing.
Students – the AHS Cheer team has hidden 5 PAW print coins around the school. If you find one, you can take it to Mrs. Smith in room 501 to claim your prize. This is not to be done during any Class time.
Panthers and Pantherettes will host Smackover tonight. Varsity girls will begin play at 6:00 with Varsity Boys following. We will recognize all Senior players tonight beginning at 5:30 p.m. Come out and support your Panthers and Pantherettes!!

Attention Algebra 1 students. Geometry students are currently winning the leaderboard contest, answering an average of 340 questions per day, which is almost 100 more than Algebra 1 students. Also, Madlin Ripley is currently the top student in that contest, having answered 2,657 questions. The work she has put in has helped her grow 200 points, which equates to 2 grade levels. Way to go, Madlin! Keep up the good work!
