Welcome to Ashdown Elementary School! It is my honor and privilege to serve as the principal of such an incredible school community. Whether you are a current family, a prospective family considering joining us, or simply visiting our website to learn more about our school, we are excited that you are here.

At Ashdown Elementary, we believe every child deserves a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where they can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Our dedicated staff works each day to ensure that all students are challenged, encouraged, and loved while receiving the high-quality instruction they deserve.

Our mission is simple: to ensure that every student learns and grows. We are intentional in everything we do—from the instruction that takes place in our classrooms to the relationships we build with students and families. We know that strong schools are built on strong partnerships, and we value the important role parents and families play in their child's success.

Ashdown Elementary serves students in kindergarten through fifth grade and offers a wide variety of opportunities to meet the needs of all learners. Through strong Tier 1 instruction, targeted interventions, enrichment opportunities, and a school-wide commitment to student success, we strive to help every child reach their fullest potential. Our staff uses data to drive instruction, collaborates daily to meet student needs, and continually seeks ways to improve our practices so that all students can succeed.

Beyond academics, we are committed to developing the whole child. Through our PBIS framework and our PAWS expectations, we teach students the importance of being respectful, responsible, safe, and kind. We believe that positive relationships and a strong school culture create the foundation for lifelong success.

One of the greatest strengths of Ashdown Elementary is our people. Our teachers and staff genuinely care about students and work tirelessly to create meaningful learning experiences each day. We are proud of the growth our students continue to make and are committed to providing a school environment where every child feels valued, connected, and empowered to achieve.

As a proud graduate of Ashdown Schools and now principal of Ashdown Elementary, serving this community is especially meaningful to me. I am honored to partner with our families as we continue building on the rich traditions of excellence that make our school so special.
