Dear Parents and Ashdown Elementary Community,

It is with great excitement and heartfelt pride that I return to Ashdown Elementary School—not only as your principal, but as an alumna of this very school. Having walked these halls as a student, I understand firsthand the tradition, pride, and community spirit that make Ashdown Elementary such a special place. It is truly an honor to come home.

With 22 years of experience in education, I have had the privilege of serving students, families, and staff in various roles. Throughout my journey, my focus has always remained on building strong relationships, fostering a safe and nurturing environment, and helping every child reach their fullest potential. Now, I am thrilled to bring that passion and dedication back to the school that helped shape who I am today.

As we prepare for the year ahead, I look forward to working together to support our students in every way—academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe in the power of community, and I know that when families, educators, and community members come together, amazing things happen for kids.
