Bella Woolfley, a fifth grade student at Ashdown’s L.F. Henderson Intermediate was the top reader at the school this year and in the history of the school. She read books, took Accelerated Reader tests and accumulated over 1000 points.
Ashdown School District sent 40 young women, from AJHS and AHS, to “Girls in STEM” held on the SAU Campus Friday, May 12. It was an interactive, hands-on educational experience designed to excite young women into careers in science, technology, engineering and math.
