Six employees of the Ashdown School District, whose years in education total over 161 years, were honored at a reception in the Little River County Courthouse on Monday, May 16.  Roger Rose, Yvonne Bond, Jim Welchel, DeeDee Ward, Debra Ward, were presented gifts by the school district and congratulated by dozens of attendees inside the beautiful courthouse lobby.  Board President, Chuck Davis introduced each retiree as he presented their token of appreciation from the district.
