District 7-AAA Track Meet Results

Ashdown High School Sr. Boys Track team won a district outdoor Championship. Last time Ashdown won a district championship was in 1967, 39 years.

A big congratulations to Coach Joe Baker for winning 7-AAA Dist. Track Coach of the Year.

Ashdown won  the runner-up plaque for placing 2nd behind Magnolia High School.
            
 

  1. Congratulations to the Eaglettes track team . 

  2. They were runner up at the Southwest Sporting Goods Relays held at Nashville on Tuesday April 18th.  They won the 400 meter relay along with 3 individual events.  Freshman Shantrell Brown broke the record in the long jump winning the event with a leap of 16’9”.

Eaglettes Win on April 10, 2006

Congratulations to the Eaglettes track team.  They won 1st place in the Annual Mineral   Springs Hornet Relays scoring 173 pts.

                        Shelecia Matthews won individual high point with 46 ½ pts.

                        Shelecia Matthews, Kasharie Sanders, Jaimee Grimes and Shantrell Brown won   the 400 mteter relay plaque.

                        Shantrell Brown won the 100 meter dash, long jump, and 200 meter dash.

                        Ashley Johnson won the 800 m. run.

                        Kasharie Sanders won the 100 meter hurdles. 

                        Shelecia Matthews won the high jum and 400 meter dash.

EAGLETTES WIN SIX EVENTS AT DEQUEEN

EAGLETTE RESULTS MARCH 14TH:

             The Jr. High Eaglettes finished third with 118 points in the DeQueen Cub Relays Tuesday, March 14th in their first junior girls competition for the 2006 season.  Winning six of the events, the Eaglettes won the 400 meter relay plaque and freshman Shantrell Brown won three individual events and a second place ribbon to score 40 ½ points to win the individual high point plaque in the girls division.
