Mrs. Linda Walker, principal of Ashdown New Traditions School, proudly announces that New Traditions School has been awarded a STUART Grant in the amount of $5,500 by the Arkansas Science & Technology Authority in Little Rock for the purchase of Classroom Performance System (CPS) equipment . The grant has been approved for Mr. Jeff Flanigan, science instructor at New Traditions, who will facilitate the program, and Mr. Bruce Martin, language arts instructor, who will assist.

The CPS program is a product of eInstruction, and the equipment will include the entire CPS infrared instructional system, eInstruction Exam View Learning Series, a projector and a laptop computer.

Mrs. Walker also wishes to invite parents of New Traditions students and other interested individuals to attend a Parent Meeting on Oct. 27 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. to meet the students and staff and to tour the facilities. Ashdown New Traditions School is an Alternative Learning Environment opportunity for students in grades 5-12.
