Letter from the principal

Dear Parents, Students and Community:

A wonderful year at MDP has already begun with 103 Kindergarten students, 113 First Grade students and 80 pre-K! This group of energetic and excited children is already buckling down and reading and learning the skills needed that I believe will prove to be a great learning year for all.

Thus far we have already assessed all our kindergarten and first graders – even our new students to our district and we are well on our way to providing point-in-time interventions for those that need help and planning already for Enrichment hours during the year for those at mastery of skills.

Margaret Daniel Primary School Goals and Mission

The Margaret Daniel Primary School Foundation was established to support worthy educational projects that will enhance the education of our students.

Goals of the Foundation

  • To enhance the creative minds of our students.
  • To provide the means in which students will be able to experience new and innovative educational materials.
  • To achieve improvement through focused investment of resources.

Mission of the Foundation

The mission of the Margaret Daniel Primary School Foundation is to support creative learning opportunities and school programs, to provide resources for teachers, to nurture the creative minds of children and to increase the range of educational opportunities available to the students of the Margaret Daniel Primary School.

We will be a school with unrelenting focus on learning. All students are expected to succeed; failure is not an option.
