Supplemental Educational Services are open for a second enrollment through February 22, 2012 for eligible students attending Margaret Daniel Primary and C.D. Franks Elementary. Enrollment letters and forms were mailed out to qualifying students. If parents need a form, they may download the enrollment form from the website or pick up forms at their child's school. Ashdown Special Olympics team members described their day as “Fun!” and “Exciting!” and called their favorite part the “Teamwork!” as players from five schools in Area 11 Special Olympics competed in Ashdown School District’s first Special Olympics Basketball Tournament on Thursday, Feb. 9 at the AHS Helen Parker Gymnasium. Teams competing in the tournament had players from Springhill, Nashville, College Hill Middle School, Arkansas High, and Ashdown High/Junior High Schools.

The Ashdown Athletic Director announces that the Senior High Basketball Tournament has been rescheduled. Today’s games have been postponed until tomorrow. The senior girls will play at 4:00 p.m. and the boys will play at 5:20 p.m. tomorrow, February 14, 2012
