Beginning January 1, 2012, students will complete one application to apply for all of the state and lottery funded financial aid. Students will answer a few simple questions online to determine which scholarships they are eligible for. Then they will fill out one online application for all of the scholarships they are eligible for.

Ashdown High School is home to the award winning Purple Pride Marching Band. They have won numerous awards around the state of Arkansas, including the Brandon Award. The band teaches the students responsibility and team work.
The Beta Club promotes character, develops leadership skills, encourages service involvement, recognizes achievement, and provides technological advantages.
Student Council plays a very important role in our school. They help share ideas, interests and concerns with teachers and administration. They raise funds for school wide projects as well as helping the community in their time of need.
Future Business Leaders of America brings business and education together in a positive working relationship.
The National FFA Organization is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
The SPU strives to make a difference in our communities by promoting positive decision-making among teens through leadership and education.
The foreign language club offers Spanish to students attending Ashdown High School.
Our mission is to provide Ashdown Athletes with the equipment necessary to be successful and help make the experience of representing Ashdown High School as fun and prideful as possible. Our focus is the AHS football program but we have given to other sports, both male and female.
